Cathy Ladman is an American stand-up comedian, television writer, and actress. She was featured in an installment of HBO's One Night Stand comedy series, was a guest on The Tonight Show on ten occasions (1989-1992, 2023), and a guest on The Late Late Show on six occasions (2007-2015).
She has had supporting roles in Don't Tell Mom the Babysitter's Dead (1991), My Fellow Americans (1996), and White Oleander (2002), and two Mike Nichols films: What Planet Are You From? (2000) and Charlie Wilson's War (2007), as well as TV shows like Mad Men, Modern Family, Roseanne, Dr. Katz, Professional Therapist, Caroline in the City (in a recurring role), Everybody Loves Raymond, Just Shoot Me! and Pretty Little Liars. She was one of the writers of The King of Queens episode "Ice Cubed". She won an American Comedy Award for Best Female Stand-Up Comic in 1992.[citation needed]
Ladman's comedy is self-described as "self-probing, anxiety-venting vehicle" for "exposing personal neurosis".[1]
Randy Lubas
Randy Lubas began doing comedy at Indiana University of PA where he graduated with a degree in Marketing and Economics. The proud son of a decorated veteran of WW II, Randy was inspired by his father’s escape from poverty through the GI Bill.
Comedian: Randy Lubas has performed thousands of comedy shows, at clubs, casinos, corporate events, in 40 of the United States, Across Canada, and all over the world on cruise ships. He has made over two dozen appearances on national TV, including Showtime, Comedy Central, and The Nashville Network, and has been heard on Sirius XM radio, the nationally syndicated Bob and Tom Radio show, and on The Dr. Demento Show. His comedy CD, “Worst Case Scenarios” has sold over 10,000 copies. His uncanny memory and involvement with each audience make every show unique and unforgettable.
Writer: Randy has written screenplays, stage plays, game shows, for corporate events, an animation pilot, weekly newspaper columns, and has written 7 original songs.
Entrepreneur: Randy opened J.R.’s Comedy Club in Valencia, CA in 1998 and it is still going strong. He opened a full time club in Ventura, CA in 2008 which he booked and managed for 12 years. A new Comedy Venue should be opening in 2020 in Simi Valley, CA.
Producer: Randy produced The Ventura Comedy Festival for 9 years. This festival has showcased over 300 comedians, including Adam Carolla, Lisa Lampanelli, Jay Mohr, Gallagher, Louie Anderson, Tom Segura, and Stephen Tobolowsky. Randy has also produced Hundreds of comedy shows all across America.
Personal Manager: Randy began managing the career of Olivia Harewood, discovered at his Comedy Festival. She is now a staff writer on The Late Late Show.
TV: Randy is one of the producers of West Coast Comedy, with over 100 hours of the hottest comedians in the world, soon to be exposed on a new platform.
Welcome to our Legendary Valentine Show with Double Headliners Cathy Ladman who has had countless TV appearances including The Tonight Show, The Late Late Show and a Dry Bar Comedy Special. Also on the bill is Randy Lubas, whose latest Special just premiered on Amazon Prime, Apple TV, and YouTube!
The night includes a superb dinner and a Rose for each couple. There will be 3 options for dinner please indicate your entree selection when you purchase your ticket.
Option One: Classic Caesar Salad with shredded pecorino Romano cheese. House made croutons tossed with traditional Caesar dressing. Tender Lobster Ravioli with tomato cream sauce, served with Fresh Baked handcrafted focaccia.
Option Two: Petite Wedge Salad. Cold iceberg crowned with chopped tomatoes, real bacon pieces, blue cheese crumbles, and chives with blue cheese dressing. Bacon Wrapped Filet cooked the way you like it with creamy real mashed potatoes, served with Fresh Baked handcrafted focaccia.
Option Three: Garden cucumber, tomato, onion vinaigrette salad. Vegetarian creamy rich mushroom stroganoff, served over egg noodles. Served with Fresh Baked handcrafted focaccia.
Dessert: Handmade whipped Chocolate Mousse with our own brittle surprise. This is included with each selection and salads are interchangeable.
Please arrive for dinner between 5:30 and 5:45. You will sit on the restaurant side to eat, and move into the showroom at 7:00. Your purchases in the restaurant will count toward your two item minimum. There is no food service in the showroom. Please note that the ticket price does not include gratuity.
